The Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army called for an end to the clashes in Tripoli

The Presidential Council, in its capacity as the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, issued instructions to stop the clashes that broke out in Salaheddine area in Tripoli on Friday.

The Council called on the warring parties to return immediately to their camps.

It requested the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army to take all immediate measures against the commanders of the warring parties. It also requested the Military Prosecutor to set up an investigation into the clashes.
