The ancient city of Tocra is being swept away by the sea

Officials of the Antiquities Authority in the municipality of Tocra in eastern Libya have appealed to the concerned authorities to pay attention to the ancient city of Tocra, which is being swept away by the sea waves, especially in the winter season.

In recent years, parts of the ancient city of Tocra have collapsed due to the waves.

It has lost about 30% of its landmarks without any intervention from the concerned authorities.
