Rain has damaged parts of the Old City of Ghadames

Some parts of the Old City of Ghadames have been collapsed due to rainfall.

Archaeologists believe that the Old City of Ghadames needs serious state attention to intervene quickly to protect this cultural heritage from extinction, as it needs permanent maintenance.

The Old City of Ghadames is considered one of the most important and prominent tourist attractions in Libya, and is characterized by an internationally distinguished architectural style.
