Two Libyan mini-football players infected with malaria ordered to leave air ambulance plane

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba instructed the Minister of Health to open an investigation into the incident of preventing malaria-infected mini-football players from boarding a plane to Italy.

Two Libyan mini-football players were requested to leave the air ambulance plane and they were replaced by two people who are not among the Libyan team’s players who contracted malaria in Nigeria and were about to fly to Italy for treatment.

In a letter, Al-Dabaiba requested the Minister of Health he submit a report about the incident within 48 hours.
