The US Ambassador to Libya praised the Geneva meeting of the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5

The US Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, said that the Geneva meeting held by the Joint Military Committee (JMC) 5 + 5 was an opportunity to agree on security, political and financial issues in Libya.

Norland, on behalf of the United States, expressed his hope that the JMC will continue to build on the progress it has made.

He considered that the meeting in Geneva is yet another opportunity to find common ground on the military, security and financial issues that still divide Libya.
