The US Ambassador to Libya affirmed his country’s support for the Libyan elections

The US Ambassador and Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, affirmed on Wednesday his country’s support for the efforts of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) to hold the elections on time.

The US Embassy in Libya reported that Norland assured the Head of the HNEC, Imad Al-Sayeh, that the United States will continue to support the HNEC to ensure the security and integrity of the voting process as an essential part of allowing voters to decide the country’s future.
