The Presidential Council ordered all army units to abide by its instructions

The Presidential Council has ordered all army units to abide by its instructions as the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army.

In a statement, the Presidential Council said that army promotions, the formation of military units, and the appointment of commanders of military regions are the duties of the Council according to the outcomes of the political dialogue.

It added that any decisions taken in violation of this order would be considered invalid and illegitimate.
