The new Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity assumed office

The Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord handed over power to the new Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity on Tuesday.

The handover ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Presidential Council in Tripoli.

The outgoing head of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al-Sarraj congratulated the new members of the executive authority, wishing them success in their duties.
