The Libyan Red Crescent facilitated the return of stranded Algerian citizens at the Debdab border crossing

The Libyan Red Crescent has managed to facilitate the return of 57 Algerian citizens who were stuck at the Debdab border crossing with Algeria for more than a month due to the closure of the border.

The Libyan Red Crescent contacted the Algerian authorities to allow the stranded citizens to cross the border into their country.

Prior to their return, the Libyan Red Crescent provided the stranded citizens with aid supplies to alleviate their suffering

The Algerian citizens left Libya because of the deteriorating living and security conditions.
