The Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on the Government of National Unity

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said on Thursday that it was surprised by the statement of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesperson regarding the Government of National Unity and the road map for the political dialogue forum signed in Geneva.

The ministry considered the Egyptian statement as interference in the Libyan affairs and an infringement on national sovereignty.

It made it clear that the Libyan political process is a national ownership of the Libyans alone, and no country has the right to set the start or expiry date of the Libyan political process.
