The Italian Interior Minister called for more cooperation with Libya

The Italian Interior Minister, Luciana Lamorgese, stressed the need to push forward the Italian-Libyan relations.

This came during her meeting in Rome with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Manqoush.

“I am confident of your ability to successfully complete your mission.” Lamorgese told Al-Manqoush, adding that her country will continue to support Libya.

Lamorgese affirmed her country’s desire to intensify cooperation programs and bilateral agreements with Libya in the field of security and countering terrorist threats.
