The Head of HNEC and UNSMIL discuss the electoral process

The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, met with a delegation from the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), headed by the official in charge of the elections file.

Both sides discussed the latest developments in the electoral process and the support of the international community for the elections to be held on December 24.

The delegation renewed UNSMIL’s commitment to stand by the Libyans to achieve their aspirations towards the desired democratic state.
