Russian and Turkish presidents discuss the Libyan situation

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan held telephone talks to discuss the situation in Libya, the Caucasus region and Syria.
The Kremlin press office said that Putin and Erdogan also exchanged greetings on the occasion of the New Year and reviewed bilateral relations.
The office added that the two presidents also discussed international issues, including the well-known proposals to legally draw up formal agreements that guarantee Russia’s security, the situation in the Caucasus, and the Syrian and Libyan settlement.
