Libyan labours celebrate the International Workers’ Day

The National Union of Libyan Workers issued a statement on Saturday on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day which is celebrated on May 01 worldwide.

In the statement, the workers demanded their rights which are guaranteed by international conventions and agreements and international humanitarian law, foremost of which is the right to a free, dignified and secure life, in addition to the right to social equality within a unified salary scale, and the right to obtain health insurance.
