Libyan-Italian talks in Rome

The Libyan-Italian Joint Technical Committee held its first meeting in Rome on Tuesday, in the presence of the Libyan Interior Minister- designate, Imad Trabelsi, and his Italian counterpart, Matteo Piantedosi.

Trabelsi stressed the importance of activating security cooperation between the two countries, especially with regard to combating illegal immigration and border security.
