Libyan Foreign Minister held a press conference with British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Mangoush, held a joint press conference in Tripoli on Thursday with the British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa at the British Foreign Office, James Cleverly.

Al-Mangush praised Britain’s support for the Government of National Unity and its role in the success of the Berlin Conference.

Al-Mangush welcomed the British offer to provide technical support to the political track and the electoral process, appreciating its willingness to exert pressure on the countries interfering in Libya.

She stressed the need for coordination to strengthen international stances towards the Libyan crisis through the establishment of a stability group headed by Libya, stressing that Libya will not be a base to destabilize security and stability in the region.
