Libyan Foreign Minister and the Chairperson of the African Union Commission discuss Libyan file

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, received a phone call from the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki, during which they discussed the latest political situations in Libya.

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission expressed his full support for the national reconciliation project in Libya in order to build stability and peace in the country, stressing his support for the efforts of the Government of National Unity to hold parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.

For her part, Al-Manqoush praised Faki’s efforts and permanent cooperation with the Government of National Unity, and the positive role played by the African Union in the file of national reconciliation, which will bring security, stability and prosperity to the Libyans.
