HoR Speaker: Holding the elections on time will reflect positively on Libya

The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aqailah Saleh, said on Sunday that holding the elections on time will reflect positively on all situations in Libya.

Saleh added in a televised speech that some parties are trying to obstruct the work of the High National Election Commission (HNEC) to achieve gains at the expense of the Libyans, expressing his hope that the HNEC will continue its work to organize the elections on time.

He indicated that holding the elections on time would have significant effects on Libya’s stability and economy.
