Government press briefing

The spokesman of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Hammouda, held a press briefing in Tripoli on Thursday, regarding the 13th ordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers for the year 2022.
In his briefing, Hammouda said that Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Al-Dabaiba called for the removal of obstacles so that the elections could be held according to a fair constitutional rule, stressing the need for alternatives to overcome obstacles if they are proven to persist.
Al-Dabaiba also called for the need to hold accountable those involved in the coup attempt against a recognized legitimate authority, according to Hammouda.
As for the 2021 report of the Audit Bureau, Hammouda stated that the Prime Minister had instructed the ministers to respond to the observations contained in the report.
The government spokesman indicated that the Council of Ministers approved the creation of an independent institution for blood transfusion services, and activating road and airport projects.
