Fazan’s protest coordinator demand answers till October 25th

A group of young people of the South protested in front of the Sharara field in Ubari on Tuesday. They demanded their rights and they asked the executive and legislative authorities in the country until October 25 to meet their demands. They threatened to stop pumping oil from the spark field in case of non-response to their demands.
One of the coordinators of the sit-in of Fezan, Ali Thabet, said that he called on the youth of the south of Ghat, Ubari, Murzuk and Sabha to demand the rights of the people of the south to complete the Ubari gas station project, and to bring turbines to the Samno stations.
They also demand to enable the graduates to work in fields and oil companies located in the southern region, to provide cash urgently to all areas of Fezzan, and to activate the decision to establish a refinery and the warehouse of Fezan.
Further they asked to reopen the airports in the south, and the contract with doctors and specialists in all as well as to transfer of some sovereign ministries to the southern region, and the spatial development of the southern regions.
