An Italian military delegation visits south Tripoli

An Italian military delegation headed by the Commander of the Italian Bilateral Mission of Assistance and Support (MIASIT) has visited the southern suburbs of Tripoli.

The mayor of Ain Zara and a team of military engineering officers accompanied the Italian delegation.

The delegation examined the damage caused by the war in a bid to join efforts on humanitarian demining activities to prevent new casualties in Tripoli.
