Al-Dabaiba and the Italian Interior Minister met in Tripoli to discuss immigration

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, held discussions on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in Tripoli with the Italian Minister of the Interior, Luciana Lamorgese, and her accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Lamorgese stressed the need for continuous contact with the Libyan Ministry of Interior to coordinate a number of important joint files, the most important of which is the illegal immigration file.

Al-Dabaiba welcomed the Italian delegation, stressing the need to activate the Italian role in the immigration file.

The two sides also reviewed the current events in Tunisia and their impact on immigration.
