A delegation from the US State Department arrives in Tripoli

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, received in her office in Tripoli on Tuesday a delegation from the US Department of State, led by the Under-Secretary of State for Management, John Bass, the Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, and the Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security, Gentry Smith.
The meeting dealt with the necessary procedures to reopen the Embassy of the United States of America to begin its work from Tripoli.
Al-Manqoush praised this step that would facilitate the movement of citizens in both countries, expressing the ministry’s full readiness to provide all support to the American mission.
The delegation handed over a message to Al-Manqoush from the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, related to strengthening relations between the two countries.
