The General Authority for Monitoring Media Content organized Thursday a seminar, which will was held within the activities of Tripoli, the capital of Arab media.
The Chairman of the Authority Jalal Othman, the President of the General Press Authority Abdul Razzaq Al-Dahesh, and representatives The Independent High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HAICA) from Tunisia and Morocco, attended the seminar.
Othman said that the General Authority for Monitoring Media Content was established by a decision of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, and began its work on 3 January 2021 during which it has completed the first semi-annual report that monitors breaches in the local and international media.
Othman explained to the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the report was issued this time with the names of the channels and the number of breaches, adding that professional breaches amounted to more than 15,000 in six months.
