The Libyan Embassy in Kiev calls Libyan nationals to move to safer areas

The Libyan Embassy in Kiev alerted Libyan nationals in Ukraine to exercise caution and move to safer areas.

In a statement, the embassy confirmed that its staff will not leave Kiev, but pointed out to the possibility of heading to southern Ukraine if necessary.

It noted that the formed crisis committee is now meeting at the embassy headquarters to study the situation in order to protect students studying in Ukraine and the community there.

The embassy explained that it made contacts with officials in Poland, which agreed to allow the Libyan community and the diplomatic mission to enter its territory.
