Misrata University staff demand higher salaries and activation of health insurance law

The staff and employees of Misrata University expressed deep dissatisfaction with the way the Education Committee of the House of Representatives deals with the employees of Libyan universities.
In a statement on Thursday, the staff was surprised by the failure to approve the salary scale for Libyan university staff. The statement was handed over to the Education Committee of the House of Representatives.
The employees called for the activation of the Health Insurance Law No. (20) for the year 2010 in their statement, waving continuous vigilances in case of failure to comply with the said demands.
