Libyan families prepare for the new school year

Libyan families are preparing to receive the new year’s study season. They need to buy uniforms and stationery despite the bad conditions of many families especially after the recent clashes in Tripoli.

Some did not find solutions about how to provide their children with school supplies such as bags, pens, pamphlets, school uniforms and other tools due to the financial problems in the country – no cash etc.

#Libyan_Cloud_News_Agency visited one of the shops. The parents accompany their children to the shops and buy what they need. “We all know that the Libyan family are large and they need food, clothing and health care. We are on the threshold of the beginning of the school year in all its stages. We are facing financial difficulties due to the lack of liquidity since Eid al-Adha. This is difficult for us even if the shops take bank cards or checks as there is an increase in prices”, one of the parents told the agency.
