An afforestation campaign launched in Albayda

The Ministry of Education of the Libyan Government launched an afforestation campaign in the Green Mountain area in Albayda city, in cooperation with Balagrae National Society for Environment, Antiquities and Tourism.

The Minister of Education, Fawzi Bumoriz, the Green Mountain Movement for Scouts and Girl Guides, and the Red Crescent Society, took part in the campaign.

In his speech, Bumoriz emphasized the importance of educating students about preserving the environment. He also stated that the Ministry of Education will issue a decision to allocate a day every year in various educational institutions for afforestation.

This campaign will continue throughout the school year.
