World Health Organization: No confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Libya

The spokesperson for the World Health Organization (WHO), Libya Office, Ahmed al-Aligai, said that the organization and the National Center for Disease Control are in continuous coordination to record any suspected cases of the coronavirus.
He said in a statement to the Libyan Cloud News Agency that there are no confirmed cases infected with the coronavirus, explaining that WHO has provided a reference laboratory with various operational materials in Tripoli and is preparing to provide another one in Benghazi.
He added that WHO supervised training programs for intervention and rapid response teams in various hospitals, ports and crossings in Libya.
