Workshop on coronavirus in Tripoli

The Communication and Health Information Committee of the National Center for Disease Control organized on Monday, February 24, a workshop for journalists on coronavirus.
The World Health Organization sponsored the workshop.
A number of representatives of TV channels, news agencies and online newspapers participated in the workshop.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the disease. The director of the National Center for Disease Control, Badr al-Din al-Najjar, opened the workshop with an explanation about Libya’s plan to respond to any suspected cases of coronavirus and the precautionary steps taken by the center to fight the disease.
The participants discussed the global situation of the disease and the strategy of the International Health Regulations in this regard.
The center will hold a similar workshop in the Eastern region of Libya in the coming weeks.
