The director of the center, Ayman Lamin, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the center is still under maintenance and the completion rate has exceeded 75%.
He said that work is proceeding normally while raising the awareness of patients about COVID-19 prevention and sterilization.
Lamin explained that the center provides patients with peritoneal dialysis and haemodialysis. He said that haemodialysis is provided to 603 patients in three sessions a week and every session lasts for four hours.
Lamin confirmed that the patients and their companions get COVID-19 protective face masks and gloves as they arrive in the center as part of the plan set by the National Center for Disease Control to fight the coronavirus.
