Tobruk Medical Center resumes open heart surgeries

Tobruk Medical Center has resumed open heart surgeries under the supervision of cardiovascular surgeon, Omar al-Manqoush.

The surgeries are sponsored by the Ministry of Health of the Libyan Government in east Libya.

The director of the media office of Tobruk Medical Center, Moataz Khaled, said that these surgeries come within the ministry’s plans to localize the treatment.

Tobruk Medical Center performed a number of major surgeries in 2019.
