The National Center for Disease Control launches a campaign against malaria
Libyan Cloud News Agency – Tripoli
The National Center for Disease Control launched a campaign against malaria in several cities in Libya, in cooperation with the World Health Organization.
During the campaign, a team of the center will build mosquito taps and take samples from sewage ponds as they are a fertile environment for the reproduction of these insects.
The team will also conduct random checks inside Sabha city and the targeted cities to detect any active cases of malaria.
The campaign comes after reports of infections in Sabha, Brak Al-Shati, Kufra, Jufra, Umm al-Aranib, and Murzuk.
