Libyan expats in China are safe

The director of the National Center for Disease Control, Badr al-Din al-Najjar, has confirmed that members of the Libyan community in China are all safe as cases of the coronavirus have increased.

He added that the health control offices at all Libyan ports are ready to screen all passengers coming from abroad and take all necessary preventive measures against the coronavirus.

He pointed out that three Libyan students were repatriated from the Chinese city of Wuhan to Algeria during the past days, and that they have been quarantined for two weeks.
