Hospital handed over after the maintenance

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Ministry of Local Government, Al-Shaheed Attiya Al-Kasheh Hospital, handed over to the municipal council of the city after its maintenance. The hospital is expected to provide services to about 500 citizens daily, after being severely damaged by the violence that the city witnessed during the past few years.
The project to strengthen local capacity for resilience and recovery is an EU-funded initiative implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Local Government and Municipalities of Tripoli, Sabrata, Sabha, Merzak, Benghazi and Kufra. The Republic of Korea is also a contributor to the project to improve the quality of services Provided to the inhabitants of the city of Ajdabyia.
