A floating isolation center opened in Tripoli

The head of the Scientific Advisory Committee on Coronavirus, Dr. Khalifa El-Bakoush, inaugurated the floating isolation center onboard Ibn Ouf ship at Abu Sittah naval base in Tripoli on Thursday.
El-Bakoush told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the floating isolation center is the first of its kind in Libya, which is able to move from one coastal city to another in case of emergency.
He added that the center was designed to receive Coronavirus patients, but it is possible to use it for the treatment of other diseases.
The floating isolation center has a capacity of 100 beds, 34 of which are allocated for the intensive care unit, according to the Ministry of Health.
