Recommendations of First Session of Annual Forum for Real Estate Development in Libya (Ammar)

Participants at the first session of the First Annual Forum for Real Estate Development in Libya (Ammar), which held on October 17 and 18, issued preliminary proposals for recommendations.

The Forum participants recommended inviting the Ministry of Planning and the National Council for Economic and Social Development to compile and classify the challenges and study proposals for solutions related to the legislative, financial and institutional aspects.

Further they proposed to change the nature of a number of existing housing administrative contracts to investment contracts and to open a dialogue with all parties involved in real estate investment from public and private institutions to identify challenges and proposals for solutions to develop real estate investment in Libya to suite the requirements of the stage and prospects for real estate investment
