Airlines discuss the impact of economic reforms on the aviation sector

The Minister of Economy and Industry, Commissioner of the National Reconciliation Government, Ali Al-Issawi, held a meeting Monday at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli. The meeting included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications, Hisham Abu Shkiwat, the Board of Directors of Libyan Holding Company, Libyan and African Airlines and Wings.

Al-Issawi said in a statement that the meeting was the first to follow up on the impact of economic reforms on the domestic and private public aviation sector, which included a 183% surcharge on foreign exchange sales and its impact on the aviation sector in general and on competitiveness Airlines to ensure their continuity.
