A symposium on the suspended housing projects held in Tripoli

A symposium on the suspended housing projects and the need to complete them has been held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Tripoli.
The International Corporation for International Commercial Arbitration, the Society of Engineers and the General Projects Authority organized the two-day symposium under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning.
Researchers and consultants, in addition to representatives of banks, the Audit Bureau, the Institute of Human Resources Development, the Libyan Development and Investment Holding Company, the Planning Institute, the Development of Administrative Centers Authority, and the High Council of the State attended the symposium.
The participants presented ten research papers and held panel discussions on the stalled housing projects, the legal status of the existing contracts, and private sector participation in financing projects and investment.
A member of the organizing committee, Enas El-Ezaby, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the aim of the symposium was to review the housing projects that are technically, financially and legally stalled, as well as boosting the local economy in the field of construction.
