The epidemiological situation in Wadi Otbah has worsened

The Municipal Council, the Advisory Committee, and the directors of isolation and filtration centers in Wadi Otbah issued a joint statement about the epidemiological situation in the town.

The statement indicated that the epidemiological situation has worsened in recent days with the registration of 180 cases in less than 10 days.

The statement called the citizens to cease all social events, including prayer in mosques, and to take all precautionary measures in public and private shops and markets.

The security services were assigned to monitor the people’s compliance.

The officials of the town addressed the Ministry of Health to provide the capabilities to support the isolation centers and the health workers to limit the spread of this epidemic.

Wadi Otbah is a town in southwestern Libya.
