Italian President: Libya is a central point for the balance of the Mediterranean

The Italian President, Sergio Mattarella, said during his meeting with US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, in Rome that Libya is a central point for the balance of the Mediterranean and for Italy’s foreign and security policy.

Italian Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, also met with Blinken at the Chigi Palace where they discussed major global challenges and the most important international crises, with special attention given to instability in the Mediterranean region and in Libya.
