Prime Minister Dbeibah held a press conference in Tripoli

The Prime Minister of National Unity Government, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, held a press conference in Tripoli on Thursday.

Dbeibah explained that he had submitted his government’s program, structure and criteria for choosing the cabinet to the Presidency of the House of Representatives.

Dbeibah said that his government will work to alleviate the suffering of the Libyan people, splits and discrimination as a result of recent wars,

He talked about the problem of political division between the Libyan institutions, describing the current phase as dangerous.

The Prime Minister stated that he had received more than 3000 CVs and only 2300 of them have been viewed. He confirmed that the selection of government ministers would be based on fair distribution between the three regions (west, east and south).

He promised that the Coronavirus pandemic, the electricity crisis and reconciliation between the Libyan people will be top priority for his government.
