The employees of the Food and Drug Control Center staged a protest in Tripoli

The employees of the Food and Drug Control Center organized a protest in front of the Libyan House of Representatives headquarters in Tripoli on Monday.

The protesters raised banners and placards calling for the dismissal of the head of the Administrative Control Authority Suleiman Al Shanti following his request to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya to freeze and suspend the accounts and salaries of the Food and Drug Control Center.

The employees called in a statement for the release of their salaries and the dismissal of Al Shanti due to his abuse of power and interference in the work of the Food and Drug Control Center.
