Peace Festival concluded in Bint Baya

The Office of the General Culture Authority in Bint Baya Municipality has organized the First Peace Festival for Arts, Heritage, Equestrian and Folk Poetry.

The festival included shows of folk costume and art paintings for a number of schools and kindergartens in the municipality.

An exhibition of traditional collections was held on the sidelines of the festival, with the contribution of a large number of institutions specialized in heritage and industries in the municipality.

The organizers of the festival expressed their hope that the festival would be held annually and that the message of peace will reach the entire country that has been burdened by wars and conflicts.

Bint Baya is a town in southwestern Libya.
