The 4th round of the Libyan Joint Military Committee talks concluded in Geneva

The 4th round of the Libyan Joint Military Committee talks (5 + 5) was resumed at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva on Monday, with the presence and participation of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Stephanie Williams.
The military track is one of the three tracks that UNSMIL is working on in addition to the economic and political tracks.
The three tracks are the outcomes of the Berlin Conference on Libya and were adopted by the Security Council, which called on the two parties to reach an agreement for a permanent ceasefire. The discussions of this round will continue until the 24th of this month
