Tree-planting campaign in Abu Salim Municipality

Abu Salim Municipality in Tripoli launched on Sunday, February 23, a tree-planting campaign.

 The Libyan Red Crescent, the Scout Movement and a number of volunteers took part in the campaign to plant 150 tree seedlings at Abu Salim Health Complex.

The mayor of Abu Salim, Abdulrahman al-Hamadi, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the municipality had coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture to plant 3000 tree seedlings within the municipal areas, in addition to public hospitals and schools.
