Launch of the 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan for Libya

UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Libya El Hilloannounced on Sunday, February 15, the launch of the 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan for Libya.

The announcement made in the presence of the Chairman of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, Fayez al-Sarraj, Minister Local Government, Milad al-Tahir, Minister of Planning, al-Taher al-Juhaimi, Minister of Social Affairs, Fadi Al-Shafi, State Minister of for the Displaced Persons, Yusef Jallala, and the Italian Deputy Ambassador to Libya. 

The head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Ghassan Salame, gave a speech over the phone during which he touched on the humanitarian efforts of the international community in Libya since 2014.
