Garbage piles up in Ajdabiya city

The workers of the Environmental Protection Agency in Ajdabiya city have gone on strike over unpaid salaries.
Garbage has piled up at different places in the city, raising health concerns.
The workers said that they haven’t received their salaries for more than 12 months.
The head of the Municipal Committee of Ajdabiya, Embarak al-Minfi, said that the agency suffers from a lack of resources and support, which causes a lack of services.
