Simulation of a session of the Security Council by students

On Sunday, a workshop entitled “My First Steps Towards the Security Council” was organized by the Federation of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Tripoli.

The first day included lectures by the professors of the department, in which the international organization of the United Nations Council was defined and its importance in the contemporary world was explained.

The workshop was held on Monday with the participation of the department’s students in one of the meetings of the Security Council and a simulation of one of these meetings. Each student represented a participating country, and delivered his speech in resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
