An open sit-in for civil aviation officials in Tripoli

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials organized a sit-in in front of the headquarters of the department in Tripoli until the demands of the protestors are implemented.

“Our problem in this situation is the uneducated decisions of the authority regarding the salaries of workers,” said the head of the basic union for the administration of basic affairs in the department, Bashir Beshti. “We reached five decisions and reached the stage that each department issues its own decision. And the Ministry of Communications, the latest of which is the Presidential Council, which we met with over two meetings, but to no avail.”

The protesters called for a real treatment of this situation: “Our sit-ins will be on-going until our requests are implemented.”
